An old saying I believe I heard first from my mother.. "Please engage brain before running mouth." I see so many talk over others, interrupt, and not aknowlwdge the speaker that I wonder how they ever made it through school never mind entering sales.and then they ask me "How can I become a better sales person?"

Use visuals. Say only what is necessary. Don't oversell. Listen not only to the words spoken, but to the body language as well.. Their posture and attitude will tell you when the sale is made. It will also tell you when you have lost them.

As Hazel points out.. Be a friend not a salesman.
